Ex-NFL Player Beats 125 MPH Speeding Ticket

Aside from a Super Bowl ring, possibly Plaxico Burress’ greatest win was beating recently a speeding ticket for going 125 mph. The former shoot-myself-in-the-leg NFL wide receiver was issued this ticket while driving his 2012 Ferrari in Broward County, Florida.

Burress’ traffic ticket lawyer noticed that the officer wrote the incorrect law on the speeding ticket and this was enough to get it dismissed.

The lessons of this story is that you should always fight your speeding tickets, always review them carefully for errors and have a good traffic lawyer on your side.  Of course, more importantly, you should never drive such speeds for the safety of yourself and others.
