Suffolk County Police Officer Bruce Blanco was recently arrested and charged with grand larceny and bribery. Officer Blanco was arraigned at District Court in Central Islip, NY on those charges and then released on his own recognizance. The District Attorney's office alleges that Officer Blanco gave false testimony at the Traffic Violations Bureau in Haupaugge, NY, to assist a motorist in getting out of a speeding ticket. Prosecutors say that they have a recording of the officer promsing that the ticket will be fixed if the contractor built him the patio.
