The Manhattan US Attorney's office recently arrested two DMV workers and four others for taking bribes to issue fake New York drivers licenses. The two New York State DMV employees worked at the Manhattan North DMV and allegedly earned more than $1 million issuing driver's licenses with stolen identities to convicted felons -- including a sex offender. These employees did not work at the Manhattan North Traffic Violations Bureau, rather the worked at the adjoining DMV office.
An undercover officer investigating the ring got an ID after claiming to be on the Federal Government's "no-fly" list who wanted to travel to Pakistan.
